My doctor sichiyastrist have tested many drugs for my, but my depression is very dificoult not any drug working well for me. I have suggest to take Wellbutrin (bupropion), because I thik can working well for me, bat my doctor say bupropion not exist here in Spain. This one not convince to me, because in Spain we have all medication (i.e. Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, Serzona, etc etc, althougth another commercial names. Someone know wath is commercial name of BUPROPION in Spain?.

Wellbutrin is manufactured by GlaxoWellcome, and is also marketed as a stop-smoking aid, under the name Zyban in the U.S. I would check the European GW website to see if it's available in Europe.... Now ain't that something; Welbutrin and Zyban are the same thing. Many thanks for that information. Does this mark a first? We now have a SRI advertised on TV, at least in the U>S. Wonder how it works as an anti-smoking aid; since it didn't do much for me when combined with Prozac. I heard the thing on TV about not taking it with Wellbutrin, which made me look a bit more carefully at the commercial. Then I saw that it *was* bupropion! Very interesting indeed... I had asked my doctor about the ads I see for Zyban which, of course, is also bupropion. He explained that Zyban is a sustained release form while the Wellbutrin I'm receiving is to be taken 3 times a day, at least 5 hours apart. Anyway, I was a 1 1/2 to 2 pack/day smoker and after about 10 days, I just lost the desire! I can't explain it, maybe it's just psychological (what isn't) but I quit and have remained smoke-free for over 6 weeks now! After reading about all of the negative side effects of all of the AD's, it's great to experience a positive side effect for once!
