I've been on WellbutrinSR, Dexedrine and Remeron for the past 10 months and I like it. I tried Wellbutrin and Dexedrine alone for about a month and my moods became more bearable, but I was still having suicidal thoughts so the Remeron was added. I've been doing pretty well. I finally finished all of my requirements for medical school and graduated. I feel more confident and self assured. I look forward to each day and am able to keep reasonable enough attention to my work in patient care. I recently broke up with my boyfriend, so I've been more tearful for the past month or so, but I will probably have my meds adjusted if I don't snap out of it in another month. Without knowing the details, I'll provide my $0.02. First, consult your doctor. If he/she is not very adept with medications, ask around for someone who is more experienced. First, stick with what works. Luvox, Effexor, Dexedrine: Most patients find Luvox is significantly tiring no matter what time of day they take it. Could that by why you are lacking energy? Has the dosage been adjusted? Is the Luvox the only SSRI effective for you? Then, why Effexor and Luvox together: both are antidepressants. If you think the Effexor is addressing the ADHD symptoms adequately, it may, but usually a stimulant is MUCH more effective. The same applies to Wellbutrin, including the SR preparation. Why take three medications with marginal benefits when one or two appropriate ones might do the job.
