Am taking 200mg of Serzone, 100mg twice a day= can handle the tiredness, but am feeling very depressed, more anxious- also take Klonopin- has anyone had simialar experiences, and do they go away- A bit worried.

Can you take the Serzone at night? I take 300 mg before going to sleep and it helps me sleep plus I feel calmer, not sleepy during the day. Maybe it's the depakote causing you to be so tired. The 1st message was supposed to be replying to someone's message about Serzone making them sleepy. I guess I don't know how to work this yet, and I hope whoever I meant my message for reads it. I've been taking Serzone (500 mg) for about a month, and I must say that it has proved to be much more effective than my previous medications - Prozac + Wellbutrin. Serzone is slightly sedating.. but I've found that if I take the morning dose at noon, and the night time dose at midnight, I don't feel as groggy during the work day. For me, it seems to take approx. 3 hours before the sedating effect occurs. I work odd hours, so I suppose that it really depends on one's schedule. The big plus for me is that Serzone doesn't affect my ability to have an orgasm. Prozaz was a _killer_ in this area.
