My question is does anyone know for sure what this means? Am I just a human reject that must stay on the meds, or is there a possibility that this is transitory. I've been on meds a long time. I never can quite get off. Thelast time I tried, I ended up suicidal. Can't go there again.
Answer:
i guess i'm a human reject, then.... ;) cause i'll be on meds for the rest of my life, probably. (hopefully it'll be a long time - i'm only 22) if you get depressed every time you go off meds, maybe you do need to stay on them. if the expense and weight gain bother you, and i can't say i blame you if they do, talk to your doc about it. some meds are less expensive/less likely to cause weight gain. in my opinion meds are worht the drawbacks since they enable me to live a functional life. you've got to make that decision for yourself though. I totally agree with LS..... I too kept trying to gt off.. but really why? if I felt better the other way... get back to your Doctor... and for goodness sake don't wait till something bad happens....
