I still feel the affects of anxiety (worry about everything, always feel run down, and VERY irritable, etc.) I've heard good things about BuSpar, including the fact that it may help with the loss of libido. Anyone have experience with SSRIs and BuSpar?

I've been on Celexa for about a month now, and also have trouble with the anxiety. Just had an appointment with my therapist on Tuesday night, and she is going to call my doctor and recommend he add Buspar for the anxiety. So if you learn any info on this combo, I'd appreciate hearing it too, please. I'm just started taking Atarax yesterday for the anxiety caused by Celexa. It is making me tired as hell. I'm going to make my 3rd pot of coffee (in 4 hours) now. I've had less anxiety since starting on Celexa 4 weeks ago, actually. I was started on a very low dose which didn't do much except help my body adjust so I didn't get side effects, but once I got up to 20 mg it was like somebody kidnapped my "evil twin". I've been literally searching for that voice that always says "what if" and "you can't" but she's just gone. Have you been on Celexa long? Been on Celexa for over a month or 2...first at 20 mg, and then upped to 40. The anxiety had been getting ridiculous. My doc added some xanax so that I could calm down quickly (he told me that I seemed to be on a launching pad ready to take off!) In a few weeks we'll re-evaluate anti-anxiety meds. The Celexa, however, has been really helping my mood greatly. Better than than crappy Paxil!
