Does anyone out there who is currently taking Paxil, experience or happen to notice that there is a complete loss of appetite but yet all you crave are lots of sweets, junk food stuff, and candybars that you never even had an interest in eating before?
Answer:
I've always had a sweet tooth, but in the six or so months I've been on it, my sweet tooth has gone *insane*. Could be that I'm also more depressed right now, but I was *really* depressed before I started Paxil and I didn't eat this much sweets. Must be the Paxil... I definitely agree. I was one of those people who hardly ever ate anything sweet. At most I might eat a sliver of cake or a single piece of candy. Now I find myself looking over the candy aisle for something to satisfy my new cravings, and I always seem to be hungry. I just hope my high metabolism doesn't let me down. Took Paxil for three years. I did not notice an increase in desire for sweets--but then I've always had a sweet tooth.
