I have just gotten Cipramil as a treatment for depression. Does anyone have any experiences to share with me about this medicament? I would be really grateful for some good advises...

Cipramil is called Celexa in other countries, so look for topics including Celexa in this website. I had Cipramil for a while and I found it gave me severe stomach upsets. I had to finally come off of it. I took CIPRAMIL (citalopram) for about 2 years and it was very good, except for its cost (US$ 3.5 / 20 mg here in Brazil). It kept its therapeutic effects along that time, and only gave me a very light nausea sometimes. You must take it in the morning, with (a light) meal (never with your stomach empty). I have been on Cipramil for about six weeks, had severe itching which develops into red sore patches if you scratch caused by hypersensitivity of the skin, also continuous indegestion sometimes really painful, saw my doc a couple of days ago and he stopped all medication anti-depressent, anti-hystamine for the itching and told me no indegestion remedies like Zantac or such only basic indegestion tablets and bicarb until we figure out what is going on.
