I have briefly scanned the archives for experiences related to Serzone (nefazodone) but it doesn't seem to be a very popular drug among posters. I'd like to hear from anyone who has taken it, especially regarding side-effects.

I took it for about 8 months,I had no side effects from it all.Unfortunately it quit working for me Of all the ad`s I've done I felt best with sezone.I wished it didn`t lose its effectiveness On an empty stomach, Serzone always makes me dry heave. But if I take it with a meal, it's not a problem. This had the pleasant side effect of motivating me to start eating breakfast. I occasionally feel a slight nauseous feeling while on Serzone. I've been on Serzone for just over a year. At first, it had a quick and powerful effect on my depression. Over the course of a few weeks, I began to gradually feel depressed again, so my doc increased the dose a couple of times. I started at 200 mg/day and now take 400. I feel drowsy and lethargic, and I really don't want to increase the dose again. In the last couple of weeks, my depression has been slowly returning. I'm still much better off that before I started taking this stuff, but I know I can do much better than this for myself, so I'm asking my doc to switch me to something else.
