I am new to this group. My doctor has just switched me from Serzone to Effexor. I only lasted two days on Serzone at 50 mg. It made me so exhausted I could hardly move. (I've also tried Prozac, Zoloft and Paxil, which all cause sexual dysfunction.) If anyone has tried some of these drugs, would you mind sharing your experiences about which ones helped you regain clarity of thought and really elevated your mood?

I'm currently on Effexor and it has made me feel better than I have felt in years. However, I've had trouble with sexual disfunction because of it. In fact, Effexor is notorious for this. My doctor has just switched me from Serzone to Effexor because Serzone had absolutely no effect on me whatsoever (good or bad). I've taken Zoloft and Prozac with good results but quit both because of insomnia (initially, but it went away) and sexual disfunction, which never improved.
