I am on my fifth day of Zoloft withdrawel and am on my fifth day of increasing Celexa. I've been having "major league" headaches. Is this a typical reaction? I took advil and there was no change.

I am also inZoloft withdrawal (my 4th day). I had bad headaches the first two days, and nothing helped. I do not have a headache this morning so I am hoping that is the end of it. It could also be possible since you are weaning off Zoloft and starting Celexa at the same time, that it is a side effect of Celexa. That is my next move, but the Pdoc wanted me to get Zoloft washed out of my system before starting Celexa, as he said Zoloft may cause withdrawal symptoms and they would be indistinquishable from Celexa side effects. He want to be sure which is which. Isn't is lovely that we have an English Teacher in our midst. Be sure that you spell check before asking for assistance or you'll be busted!
