last December, and it was very long and carefully reasoned. Essentially they took a look at clinical trials for Serzone and Effexor, with some telling comments about Prozac on the way.
Answer:
i wonder how credible a source the washingtonian is... years back it was owned by the rev. moon's church, no? that doesn't necessarily mean anything, and i guess it sounds like i'm shooting the messenger or trying to make some kind of ad newspaper-em attack here, but still, i know the scientologists have been absolutely rabid in their anti-depressant litigation, and i wonder if somehow the ownership of the washingtonian might have a similar agenda. fwiw, i tend to buy pretty much whole cloth what the times and the wall street journal report... the former's editorial page seems kind of limp, and the latter's editiorial philosophy seems somewhere to the right of jesse helms, but i tend to be credulous reader of their news copy. if there's some terrible conspiracy afoot, i'd rather be duped by dow jones than rupert murdoch... where the washingtonian fits in, geeze, i dunno. Just looking at the headlines of any paper sends me into depression. Humans are such evil creatures I am ashamed to be one. The news has been out of my life for some years. No newspapers, TV news or radio news allowed. I do enjoy reading some magazines like Popular Science. I get a feeling there is hope for the future from them. In reality I can do nothing about any news but feel. Shoulda quit while you were behind, Michael. I am not familiar with the Hahavahd study of which you speak, but it was very likely triggered by what the French have known forever and let into the media a few years ago, that if you drink about two glasses of wine every day, you can eat as much rich food as you like and not get the heart attacks which fell the majority of Americans. The French laugh themselves sick over the Puritan Americans who think Alcohol is Evil (not to mention Presidents Who Fornicate) and wonder when we will ever grow up ...
