I've never heard of Maronil, but Anafranil is a drug used mostly for obsessive-compulsive disorder and also when depression accompanies it. The doctor probably diagnosed her with that. The main side effects include all those that you said she has experienced plus others like constipation but since she hasn't experienced that, those are probably all the side effects she will have. Some of them go away within a couple of months. If she has been diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder or depression I would suggest for you to tell your doctor to try any of the SSRI's like fluoxetine, paroxetine, sertraline or fluvoxamine, they are just as good for obsessive-compulsive disorder and depression and have way less side-effects. These medications should show some sign that their working by two weeks and it could take up to a month, some doctors will tell you it can take up to 2 months but it is rare for the medication to work after a month, it would probably be wasting a lot of time when you can be trying another, it's especially hard when you're so depressed that you don't want to wait 2 whole months just to wait for a slim chance that it'll start to work. If one doesn't work by then you should go on to another, sometimes one SSRI will work when another hasn't. Anafranil is a tricyclic anti-depressant, also used for obsessive-compulsive disorder. I did a 'net search on Maronil and found a website in Spanish (which I don't speak or read), and believe it or not, Maronil is THC or Dronabinol (as from marijuana).
