Also, anyone out there on Wellbutrin long term (1+ Year)? If so, can a tolerance develop and effectiveness decrease over time?
Answer:
I've been on Wellbutrin for well over a year, and done a couple of dosage increases. It's worked very well for me and I've been really, really happy about the increase in energy and the weight loss, but I'm beginning to wonder about decreasing effectivness, too. (especially since I've already had it happen with Prozac and Zoloft) The last few months have been pretty stressful, but my overall ability, or lack thereof, to deal with anything is starting to worry me. After successfully raising the dosage to make it keep working Paxil stopped working for me after about 6 months. I have read that relapsing within half a year does occur but after a year of successfully taking an antidepressant the chance of relapsing is very low, so you guys shouldn't worry too much. Jennifer, maybe you need a dosage raise,
