I am going to start on Amineptine on Saturday although it probably won't work knowing my luck with meds. The fact that it works by inhibiting dopamine reuptake instead of serotonin reuptake offers me a little bit more of hope. I ordered it from India at a cost of $20 for 10 tablets of 100mg each, you only need to take one a day.

That pharmacy sounds like a dud. Ol.Skouvara in Greece sells amineptine for $7 per 20 tablets! (skolv...@hol.gr). No minimum, $10 flat postage. Did you check the literature before deciding on the dose of 100mg/day? Most of the studies I found on Medline referred to 200mg per day (sometimes reduced later). Amineptine seemed most effective vs "retarded" rather than "anxious" depression (these terms mean little to me!). I had heard of them before but never ordered from them, I'll be sure to check them first next time. I have seen 100mg and 200mg of Amineptine listed as possible doses, but I just decided to start off with the lower one. Have you had any trouble with receiving orders from Ol. Skouvara? I read on the FDA website that they're on the list of companies whose products are seized by customs for "promoting" products to U.S. citizens. Are there any other companies who supply Amineptine who aren't on the FDA list? How about Master's Marketing? Not Masters Marketing, I've asked them they don't have it. If you don't want to order from the place in Greece and if you're willing to pay a little more you can go with the place in India I pointed out before, I ordered from them successfully. Rather than just throwing away the remainder of your amineptine, I'd be interested in what you you have left. I have about 60 Adrafinil tablets if you'd like to trade (it didn't work for me, but might for you), just e-mail me if you like. Also have you ever tried augmenting an anti-depressant with either pindolol or Revia (naltrexone), I've heard both these have resulted in very rapid (2 to 5 days) "robust anti-depressant responses". Pindolol combined with Buspar has reportedly been quite successful. Might be worth a try...
