Why does Xanax cause rapid cycling? Do Serzone and Zoloft also cause rapid cycling? Are they the same class of drugs as Xanax?

I'm been on Zoloft for 4 weeks and feel like i'm riding an out of control rollercoaster sometimes. This 'cure' seem to be worse or just as bad as the disease. And to think i used to envy the manic depressives- i thought at least they get to experience the highs. Xanax and Zoloft are two different medication groups. Xanax is a short acting valium or benzodiazapine. Zoloft is a Selective-Seretoin-Reuptake-Inhibitor or SSRI; an anti-depressant. I've experienced that if you don't get good results in a week then you need to try another one. Rollercoasters I'm not familiar with. No, that is incorrect. If it is going to work, Xanax will kick in in at most a few days, but Zoloft and most other antidepressants require at least 4-6 weeks.
