I've had that problem, caused by estrogen surges (PMS, and once when I went off birth control pills for a month). I don't know if Zoloft can affect estrogen production, but it certainly seems to be doing *something*. Have you told your dr? 4 wks, or at most 6, should be more than enough time for a trial.

Now that's an interesting idea. I finished my menstruation cycle last week and I haven't experienced the mood swings this week. I'll ask my doctor about it. I feel a little more 'normal'. Now, I want to take action, but feel dismayed and overwhelmed at the mess due to my past inability to function. I have one more incomplete form that needs to be signed and its due tomorrow :( May SSRIs have estrogenic effects in men? I feel that I am becoming more feminine and developing gynecomastia. My face is starting to become more "lady-like" (small chin, male like jaw becoming small pronouncing high cheek bones, lips fuller, esp on top). I take Paxil. The sleep problems I once had are now almost totally gone (making sure I am taking med between 8-10pm consistently)
