Answer:
I have been using SJW for a year or so now. The brand makes a difference! I have access to Webber, Swiss, Jamisons and Pharmasave naturals. The first three work well but I bought some of the Pharmasave brand a couple of weeks ago and two days later I was almost suicidal. IT DID NOT WORK AT ALL! I recognised the symptoms and went back to Webber, (the cheapest of the other three) . Back on track the next day! About dosages: I find That I have to experiment. It seems that I can almost controll my mood with dosage. 4-5 300 mec capsules morning and evening seem to work for me. That is 2400 to 3000 mg. per day. I have no decernable side effects. I believe that this is a very benign and fast acting drug, and I am not afraid to recommend larger dosages, based on my experience. It is probably best to titrate up over a few days then, when you feel better, titrate down to find your best maintanance level.
