Could someone please give their experiences with serzone, positive and/or negative? Is it a good, safe medicine?

I've been on Serzone for about three weeks, 200mg a day. So far I have had no relief from my symptoms. Zoloft works but medi-cal won't pay for it. Does anyone know how long before Serzone takes effect, at what dosage? After being on Prozac for 8 years and experiencing 45 pounds of weight loss, which I can ill-afford since I lost my stomach in 1979, I was put on Serzone yesterday. The clinical data included in the prescription says most people tolerate it well.. not addictive.. side effects most commonly reported during the 4-6 weeks it takes to become fully effective: dry mouth, sleepiness, nausea, dizziness, weakness, lightheadedness. Have you visited www.healthguide.com/pharmacy? That site has some good info on all prescription depression meds. Last night i really needed to connect... to something, certainly sleep was out of the question. I didn't make it through the day. I left school and went straight to my doctor's office. They fit me in. Thank God... he gave me samples of Zoloft for a month and he's going to try to get an exception from medi-cal to pay for it. Some times you gotta stick with what works! Sorry to de-lurk at such a vulnerable time...
