Clonazepam For Anxiety?

Due to my adverse reactions to my current meds, my Pdoc put me on Effexor (from wellbutrin) and Clonazepam (from buspar) Everything I find on the web says that Clonazepam is for seizures. Anybody on it for anxiety? And info?
Answer:
Clonazepam is the generic name for Klonopin. Klonopin IS an anti-anxiety drug that is a member of the benzodiazapene family and is closely related to Xanax. However, Klonopin differs in it's "ramp up", or how fast it take effect, and ramp down time. Xanax is fast acting while Klonopin is a bit mellower. I take it myself as needed for anxiety with no problems whatsoever. You'll see a great deal of psychiatric medications indicated for "seizures". I take Depakote also, which is indicated for seizures too, but I've never had a seisure in my life...Except when I was still drinkin and the bartender was too slow on the refill,
