Marijuana & Bipolar Disorder relief ?
Answer:
I am interested in those with BP who have used marijuana for relief. I ask this question because this past Thursday I smoked some "weed" and I haven't touched the stuff literally in at least 22 years. I felt great not because I was euphoric but because I was my old self, telling jokes, sharp as a tack and my state of mind was one of peace. AD's never did SHIT for me and they actually made me worse. Some studies have shown that moderate amounts of marijuana have an antidepressant effect, but larger doses worsen depression. You may have hit the sweet spot. yeah, if I had a crippling physical aliment I could maybe get it but a mental one which feels much worse is a no go. As usual it makes no ryhme or reason. Fucking alcohol & nicotine is legal and can be bought anywhere in the USA and it kills 100's of thousands every year but no way will we allow pot to be legal. I have never smoked weed, but my father had the worst cast of Bi polar recorded in the Veterans hospital in Salt Lake City. He suffered severely for over 25 years, and then he started studying the brain, he concluded that our brains should work well, if they are getting the proteins needed. He ate a lot of protein, so he decided that he must not be digesting it correctly. He learned that our liver produces enzymes that break down the proteins, and he figured he must not have the enzymes needed. He started drinking raw apple cider vinegar in warm water with honey before every meal. He was healed. The doctores laughed at him, nobody would listen to him, but he got off all his meds, and had psychological tests done that concluded he had no symptoms of Mental illness. He finally convinced a doctor, that it was the enzymes that healed him, and the doctor prescribed him the enzymes they prescribe to liver patients. I believe papaya juice has lots of natural enzymes as well. The apple cider vinegar is cheaper I think. I know excercize helps. I suffered with anxiety and deepression for many years. I was severely suicidal last year from Jan to June. It was hell. But I have 5 kids who need me, and my faith wouldn't let me take my life. I started running in April, 3 miles, 3 times a week, By June, I wasnt suicadal, I just didnt' feel happy, ever. In August, my mother in law gave me some Costco vitamins. They are Kirkland Brand, and they are cheap $15.00 for a box with a hundred days worth. I take them 3 times a week so the box will last over 6 months. I was healed within 3 weeks. I got off all my meds very slowly, cut back a little, waited 2 weeks, cut back a little more, waited 2 weeks, etc. I was completely off all drugs within 2 months and I feel better than ever. Now I can run 5 miles 5 times a week, I have tons of energy and love life like I never thought I would again. The I feel very strongly that God wants me to share this info with everyone. I also know that you have to fight the negative thoughts that come in your head. Replace them immediately with a positive one about your worth and goodness. I believe Satan wants to destroy us, and fills our heads with lies. Get them out, fast! I prayed a lot during all this time, and I know I was heard, and helped. Please share this info with everyone you know who is in pain becuase of Mental illness!! It may not help everyone, but it can help many!
