Effexor: sweating and odors, I wanted to know if anyone has had this same thing! ?

I am 20 and on 150mg of effexor for depression. I have been on this dose for about 5 months. I don't have many side effects, except for really strange dreams and incredibly profuse night sweats. I mean, like, I literally have soaking wet sheets and underwear and pillow, etc, etc. It seems to be worse now than it was, I don't know. Also I seem to have a very weird smell to my sweat. It's not the typical musty sweat smell, its more like a sweet starchy smell. I don't know if this has anything to do with the effexor, but it's something that I have noticed and I wanted to know if anyone has had this same thing! Yes Effexor can cause increase sweating and abnormal dreams. I'm not familiar with the odor of the sweat. Interestingly, Effexor is sometimes used to treat hot flashes in post menopausal women.
