I'm looking for information over a medication call PRAXIL I would like to know if some of you prescribe it or use it. I would like to know if it helped you and if you recommend it or don't. Please help me. Someone in my familly is having a depression and I would like to help that person the best I can

I've been on Paxil for a 1.5 yrs and it really helps. I can't believe that a pill can have that much positive effect on you. I must however, warn you that abrupt unsupervised discontinuation can cause severe vertigo (dizziness) as a side effect... best to consult a doctor about it. I was on Paxil for a while and it did not help me one bit. But, what works for one might not necessarily work for another. I have heard of it working well for a quite a few people however...
