What do you take for stress and depression ?
Answer:
Northerners supposed to take lots to compensate for lack of sunlight, and to prevent osteoporosis, like watching my dad break up like Humpty Dumpty Why not a B complex ? I thought a B vitamin was good for stress and nervous system. Sick of prescription pills. Gonna start working out like a bastard in the Fall, if can find the energy, time, and motivation. Hope that helps. I've done that in spurts in the past, but never stick to it. Gotta keep at it this time. Calcium does nothing for bone health if you are magnesium deficient and can in fact cause more problems, like harding of the arteries and excess calcium in the brain which is bad for BP because calcium is used in nerve signaling. Most americans are deficient in magnesium. "Restriction of dietary calcium was reported to alleviate manic episodes in one bipolar patient, and calcium supplementation (approximately 800 mg per day) increased mania symptoms slightly in six manic-depressive patients, according to another uncontrolled report.50 Therefore, if calcium supplementation is desired by people with bipolar disorder, it should be taken with caution."
