Question:
Does ANYONE have any idea where I can get in touch with the, if any, free medicine program of SOLVAY PHARMECUTICALS? They manufacture LUVOX. I'm five days off my meds and losing it big time. Non of the avenues I've taken are open. My MD refuses to give me a Rx because he is an asshole, (read, "He told me that I needed to find an alternative to his care two months ago so that justifies his out, notwithstanding the fact that the public health joke turned me down because my condition didn't meet their 'criteria' "). SHIT!

Answer:
Off the to of my head I can think of a couple of ways to go to find additional medication. Find another shrink. When I went to mine he gave me a 3 week supply to try out at no cost to me. Also, if you know another doctor, he/she can prescribe it for you and may be able to find a free/reduced cost medicine program for you. It's worth a shot. but my EX psychiatrist decided that since I wasn't in active therapy, (read="RAN OUT OF HOSPITALIZATION" eg; money), that he was not going to authorize any refills on my Rxs. At this time of year, all the shrinks are running for cover. Who want's to get dreg duty at all the shit wards with the attempts coming in ovrwraught over the holidays looking to shot, poison or mutilate themselves. The earliest appt I could even get them to commit to was the end of January...oh yeah. Don't forget...no insurance; Make sure you bring that $125 at thetime of the initial visit. In other words, been there...done that, but the kind words for you and several others in the ng have really made a difference. As a matterof fact, I'm happy to say that my wife's GP prescribed all of my meds yeaterday in a last ditch effort. They called them into one of the major drug chains who promptly filled it...at my co-pay amount...after linking in with the provider computer...who OK'd it. Like...$400.00 was coming out of my SSDI and it was shrunk to something like $46. I really dont feel sorry for either of them. If their shit is so screwed up at the HMO, then they need to so a little self inprovement. It buys me some time to get this public health system covered.
