Became depressed after nicotine cessation (27 yeears). Took 900mg of SJW for 2.5 weeks with no effect. Upped dose to 1200mg for 5 days, then Boom, SJW kicked-in. No more depression, but I'm shaking, literally. I'm trembling and experiencing palm sweating and anxiety. Is this normal and will it probably go away. Should I quit taking SJW? If I can get this to go away, SJW will be welcome.

Try backing off to 900 mgs again. It takes SJW about 2-3 weeks before you feel anything. You may just be taking too much. I went through the same thing. I was taking 500 mgs and felt nothing, so I took 1000 mgs and was shaking like I had drank 15 pots of coffee! So now I'm back down to 500 mgs and as happy as a clam at high tide! lower the dose back to 900 mg, seeing as how the SJW has kicked in, you may need less...and just keep lowering it until you get the benefits without the side-effects, may take a couple of weeks to find the happy medium. I don't think the kicking-in had to do with upping the mgs as much as the amount of time you were taking SJW. I didn't get much out of SJW for about three weeks, then it kicked-in.
