what are ppl's experiences with tRMS?
Answer:
none of the antideprssants I've tried have worked. So I'm considering the option of tRMS. I'm in the UK,and the only tRMS I can find is in Canada,at the Mindcare centres. It's very expensive,including the airfare. So does anyone know of any tRMS trials happening in the UK or elsewhere (such as America) which are free? Also, what are ppl's experiences with tRMS? I think you mean "rTMS", right? Transcranial magnetic stimulation? A few years ago, the technique was promising but very unreliable, but I keep reading that it has improved quite a bit, to the point where I would consider it worth trying. I known Trials in the past have occured at the Institute of Psychiatry/Maudsley Hospital at Denmark Hill London. The trouble is I've registered with the companies holding trials of tRMS in the UK,such as Imperial University,and they almost never get back to you. Your name just ends up on a databse.
